Spring Break and Summer break just got a whole lot more fun!
Art, imagination, sport and adventure await you at our Spring Break/Summer day camps!
What is it?
The Spring and Summer Program are run during the school spring break in March and during the summer vacation for July and August. The programs take place at the Activity Centre inside the gymnasium and/or outside on the school field and property forest.
Summer Program hours are 10 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Thursday, with no program on statutory holidays.
Spring Break Program hours are 10 am to 3:30 pm Tuesday to Thursday, each week of the March break.
Who is it for?
The programs are for children aged 5 years old to 12 years old. 5 year olds must have completed kindergarten.

A link to the registration will be posted on our Facebook page at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Our Facebook page can be found here: Galiano Activity Centre Facebook.

Spring Break 2026 Day Camp Program Costs
GACS’ mission is “To provide accessible recreational programming and facilities for all members of our community.” Because of that commitment, we are offering the 2026 Spring Break Program at a self-chosen rate on a sliding scale. Below are the options that families will have to choose from on the registration form:
1. $35 per day (This is the actual cost of the program. Please pay this price if you have expendable income for things other than the basics)
2. $30 per day (This is the cost for families able to meet their basic needs but have little expendable income. Paying for this program may require a sacrifice of other things.)
3. $25 per day (This is the cost for families with no expendable income. Paying for this class will be a hardship but I can afford this price)
For families or community members looking for a way to contribute to the Spring Break Program’s sliding scale, there is also a spot to opt in to a price higher than the $35/day (which would be included on the invoice) or a one-time donation to GACS can be arranged by contacting the Coordinator at galianoactivitycentre@gmail.com.
